On February 11, COSCO Dalian Shipyard successfully delivered MEGA STAR, the 80,000DWT bulk carrier (N242), to the UAE owner STELLAR SHIPPING. The vessel is the second of the new builds delivered by COSCO Dalian Shipyard in 2011.
Mr. Yan Chengxiang, Deputy General Manager of COSCO Shipyard Group and General Manager of COSCO Dalian Shipyard, signed the delivery documents together with CAPT. A. MUKHERJEE, Shipping Manager of STELLAR SHIPPING. On February 13, MEGA STAR set sail from the shipyard.
