ANADOLU (ADIK) Shipyard today, on June 1st 2012, successfully delivered Landing Craft Tank Vessel (LCT) named TCG Ç-155. ANADOLU Shipyard has already delivered the first four vessel of the LCT project (TCG Ç-151; TCG Ç-152; TCG Ç-153; TCG Ç-154) back in March and April and TCG Ç-155 comes as the fifth vessel delivered to the Turkish Navy in 2012.
In 2007, Under-secretariat for Defence Industries (UDI), submitted a Request for Proposal for 8 LCTs. The exact value of the contract was not made public but it is estimated to be around 100 million EUR.
The ship is a mono-hull type vessel, all steel construction, designed to meet the speed, sea keeping maneuverability and stability requirements of Turkish Naval Forces Command. The expected service life will be 30 years.

According to ADIK each ship has over 7 kilometers of inox piping and over 50 kilometers of cabling. It took an average of 400 days to construct one LCT vessel. When loaded their speed can be up to 18,5 knots, unloaded they can reach the speed of 20 knots.
