The International Shipping Exhibition Posidonia took place from 4 to 8 June 2012 in the Metropolitan Expo Centre in Athens. HME organized the largest Maritime by Holland Pavilion thus far at the exhibition, covering an area of 280 sqm and proudly presenting 21 companies.
For the first time Holland was also promoted as an excellent business climate for Greek ship owners. In cooperation with the Royal Association of Netherlands’ Ship owners, the Dutch Maritime Network, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands Athens, a special Holland information booth was set up for ship owners, to find out what the Netherlands have to offer them: an excellent political and business climate which allows maritime enterprises to flourish.
Holland Pavilion in the spotlights
Throughout the exhibition the Pavilion frequently attracted attention. The Dutch Ambassador visited the Pavilion on Monday evening after the opening ceremony together with the official opening delegation as well as the Holland Network event. The network event was organized in cooperation with the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands in Greece and was well attended by more than 200 exhibitors and visitors.
