Few days ago, President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the State Service for Sea and River Transport of Turkmenistan to conclude contract with Croatia-based ULJANIK Shipyard for the construction and purchase of two Ro-Pax vessels ,car-passenger ferries.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the “Programme of Socio-Economic Development for 2012-2016″ at the first meeting of the new government. The Programme provides for a set of measures aimed at steady dynamic development of the national economy.
According to the Programme, Turkmenistan will modernize the material-technical base of all sectors of the economy and build new facilities for the fuel and energy sector, chemical industry, textile industry, agriculture, transport-communication sector etc.
