China: Bulk Carrier YA TAI 1 Leaves CIC Boluomiao Shipyard

Bulk carrier “YA TAI 1” was successful repaired and redelivered to the owners by CIC Boluomiao shipyard on August 1st 2012. The repair work included overhaul of the main engine & diesel generator, repairs of hatch covers and renewal of more than 1000 m of pipe lines.

Since the repair volume was quite large and the period short the yard paid high attention to the overhaul of main engine & diesel generator, the repair of hatch covers, the renewal of pipe lines. All departments made a production plan to ensure the repair quality and period.

For the renewal of pipe lines, there were more than 1000 m pipes to be renewed. The shipyard wrapped up every pipe nozzle to ensure that the pipes are clean. The test & inspection for all pipes were passed one time which ensured the ship redelivery to the owners on time.
