Mingde Heavy Completes Sea Trials for Gram Car Carrier

Today, 4300 Unit PCTC (MD087) Car Carrier, built by Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry Stock Co. Ltd for Gram Car Carrier, has successfully returned after sea trials and berthed alongside COSCO steel structure dock.

All trials under the elaborate plan of the project team proceeded smoothly for just 55 hours, making it the most successful sea trial of this series. The ship’s quality satisfied the ship owner and classification society and only 150 pieces of suggestion, or 1/8 of the last ship’s sea trial, remained. This demonstrates that Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry Stock Co. Ltd made a new breakthrough in building quality.

Delivery of the car carrier is planned for October 10th.
