On 18 October, 2012, Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard Co. Ld. (HVS) launched the 56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier Hull No. S050, pertaining to the series of eight vessels contracted with Geden Lines, Turkey.
In terms of design specifications she is 188m in length, 32.26m in width and 18.3m in depth. Having HYUNDAI-B&W 6S50MC-C7 as the main engine the vessel can develop a speed of 14.5 knots. Handymax
The maximum of cargo holds amounts to 70,700 m3.
As planned, S050 will be delivered to her owner in January 2013.
